I was born in Ayrshire Scotland, and studied at the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music And Drama., now The Royal Conservatoire Of Scotland.

I have played various leading roles in musicals in the West End and on tour. Highlights include, Les Miserable, Brigadoon, Sweeney Todd, King by Martin Smith, Chess, City Of Angels, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, JFK A Musical Drama, Hair, Cafe Puccini, Martin Guerre and On A Clear Day. 

Over the years I have performed in various concert settings with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra, Scottish National Orchestra, and the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Recordings include Brigadoon, City Of Angels, Martin Guerre, The Songs Of Maltby And Shire, Simply Broadway with two solo albums of my own - So In Love and Grateful.

The release of I Forgive You marked the beginning of my career as a singer songwriter.
